Our online passport photo service is extremely straightforward.
Step 1:
Take a photo from your mobile phone against any plain coloured wall in your home
- Applicant should stand approximately 50 cm (20 inches) away from the back wall.
- The applicant should ideally face a light source with as even lighting on the face as possible.
Step 2:
We will send you a secure payment link after we check your photo
- Whether it is an adult, child or baby passport photo that you require, we will only send you a payment link once we are 100% certain we can use your photo for the passport photo you require as we guarantee your passport photos will pass.

US Passport Photo specifications
For US passport photo specifications (USA) the photos we supply from Reload Internet will meet the following guidelines:
- 2” x 2” (50mm x 50mm)
- Full face, eyes open, front view for frame subject
- Shows full head from top of the hair down to bottom of chin
- Height of head measures from 1” to 1 3/8” (25mm to 35mm)
- Head must be in the middle of the frame
- Height of eyes must be between 28mm to 35mm from bottom
- Natural expression required
- No shadows on face or background
- Background will be white
US Digital Passport Photo Requirements
If you would prefer to submit a US digital photo online, we can do this for you. Best of all, if you purchase a US passport photo (hard copy) and a US digital photo we discount the digital photo by 50%. Our US digital photo will meet the standard set forth from the US embassy digital photo specifications.
Our US digital image will adhere to the following specifications:
- Dimensions: The image dimensions will be in square aspect ratio, which means that the minimum acceptable dimensions will be 600 x 600 pixels with a maximum of 1200 x 1200 pixels.
- Color: The image will be be in color (24 bits per pixel) in sRGB color space – the tricky part!
- File Format: will be in JPEG file format
- File Size: Ultra high resolution and an image size of 240 kB (kilobytes) (300 pixels per inch or 12 pixels per millimeter)
Compression The image may need to be compressed in order for it to be under the maximum file size. The compression ratio should be less than or equal to 20:1.
