Malaysia passport photo and visa photo specification for Malaysia specifications:
- Your Malaysia Passport Photo according to 2016 guidelines should measure 35mm x 50mm in size
- Your Malaysia Passport Photo should be no more than 6 months old
- Malaysia Passport Photo taken at photo booths and on computers will NOT be accepted by the Malaysian authorities
- The background must be white, with no shadows on neither the applicants face nor the backdrop (dark clothing is also recommended)
- The face should cover 50-60% of the photograph, we recommend that the length of the face is 30mm
- The head size should be 25-30mm, with a 10mm margin from the bottom of chin to the bottom of photograph and top of head to top of photograph
- The applicant should have a neutral expression, mouth closed, eyes open and looking directly at the camera, and head centred and square to the camera
- The applicant must wear dark coloured clothing covering the shoulders and chest.
- Headwear is allowed under religious circumstances, and full facial features must be visible form bottom of chin to top of forehead, as well as both edges of your face being shown. If headwear is worn, it should be of a dark colour, preferably black.
- We recommend that you remove your glasses, but if you must wear them then the photograph should show your eyes clearly with no reflection on the lenses, and make sure that the frames do not cover any part of your eyes
- The photos should have appropriate brightness and contrast, as well as be printed on high quality paper at high resolution.
- If your photo does not meet the specifications above it may be refused by the government of Malaysia, at Reload Internet we ensure that this will not happen to your application

The quality of the actual photograph should be good with a high print finish, which can be provided for you in store.
